Failures of Foresight: The State of the Art in Early Warning
The Stephenson Disaster Management Institute, the Maxwell School of Government at Sryacuse University, and the Swedish Institute of International Affairs will host a conference about early warning modeling. The goal of the conference is to provide a venue at which policy makers, IT specialists, and social science researchers from across different sectors (IT, health, intelligence, disaster management, etc.) and regions (particularly the US and Europe) can interact about advances in early warning modeling.
